In the latest press event held at San Bruno, California headquarters of YouTube where the Google owned video service introduced its latest mobile product. The software does not focus on installing any new applications for Iphone, Android or other mobile phones but stress on m.youtube.com, the mobile browser version of the famous internet destination.

The new mobile YouTube offers the latest UI and navigation for faster and easier browsing. The home screen that you would see is almost alike to Facebook Iphone application- the page has various rows of icon for different options like Favorites, Browse, settings, playlist and Home.

The product is designed for touch screen phones particularly a told by the Mobile product manager Andrey Doronichev as these phones accounts for wide majority of YouTube mobile video views.

The most important and biggest change has been seen in the HQ streams form. The quality of youtube videos on iphone is not that good and therefore this new application makes use of old stream format for second gen networks.

The new site is specially designed for newer networks including its HQ streaming option which is presently available in the Android version only. The difference between the qualities of both the formats can be easily judged.
