Many online bloggers have been waiting to update their wordpress from 2.7.1 version to 2.8 series. As per rule, we should first wait and watch as what problems come on the way and then should upgrade to the new version.

The Plugin Developers and the Theme Developers work as per the new version and then release their updations. Yesterday, i upgraded all my wordpress blogs, plugins to the latest versions and found no problem in the theme or plugins.

New versions of Post Views and Post Views Widget are not working on my blogs. So i am still using their previous versions. Normally, a WordPress updation has very less effect on the theme. The major issues come only with the plugins. If you face any problem after updation of any plugin, simply remove it from ftp and upload its previous version again.

I have also updated my WordPress Mu blogs to 2.8.4a version and they are also working fine along with buddypress and other plugins.

So, this is the right time to upgrade. If you are still using 2.7 series, upgrade your wordpress and plugins confidently. You won’t face any problem
