Blogger is a blogging platform of Google which is used by tens of thousands of bloggers and it’s a platform which is constantly evolving to offer a better experience to its users. Google just introduced its latest blogger template designer feature on its blogger site. If you are running your blog on it then you can easily design your template by selecting some cool color and font combinations.

Earlier, the blogger offered some pre designed themes and templates that were available under the blogger dashboard. People having knowledge of HTML and CSS made some code changes and were able to create some new themes for themselves.

But now you don’t need to be a programmer to be able to create a blogger theme. You can make changes directly in your template by using the new blogger Template designer.

How To use Blogger Template Designer

1. Sign in to your blogger account page using your blog credentials

2. Now open “Blogger Template Designer” page and begin editing the template

3. You can choose a pre-designed template to begin editing

4. Using the left panel of blogger template designer, you can modify the layout and the background image. Layout changes like one or two sidebar, left sidebar, or no sidebar etc can be done. You can also modify the layout of footer and change the width of template through layout changes option.

5. If you wish to customize the font, color for Post Title, Blog Title, Body, Footer, Tabs, etc, you can utilize “Advanced” option available on blogger template designer.

6. “Preview on existing blog” to see the applied changes or “Apply to new blog”.
