Merge Comments From Twitter, Facebook, Digg And More

Real time comment platform Echo is recently out with its new feature for Echo pro users: A recent comments widget.

This interesting widget can be easily integrated into any website with a Java code and pulls in reactions and comments to posts around the web. This means that apart from viewing a real time sampling of the latest comment on the website it would also pump in data from digg, twitter and other social networking websites.

The best thing about this feature is that it allows the publisher to customize the content that appears and the sources from which it is collected. For example, a publisher can put site wise latest comments that would showcase his web related activity or it may keep the widget focused on a specific section.

Further, you can also customize the kind of comments you get. You can even choose to bring the comments just on the site whereas keeping the comments on digg to yourself. The comments that you get are displayed along with the name and avatar of the person posting it.

Today the number of people adopting this real time feature is increasing and Echo’s solution is concentrated on giving these people a platform to captivate the content around the web and make it available on the publisher’s websites.

With the availability of many other widgets like Facebook like and share buttons, the page views are increasing considerably. One can easily draw huge traffic towards his recently discussed stories through right page placement and customization.
Finally, it is another step of combining the social web.

So what do you think about this real time aggregation feature?
