Is the blog layout warm and friendly? Are the contents readable and easy on the eye? Are there any changes that I can do with regard to positioning of the links in the sidebar? Are my external links still working fine?

These are minor things that, when taken care of, would lead to a much better reader experience. Consider, for instance, the speed at which your site loads with all its bells and whistles. You may not realise it yourself if you were working on high speed broadband that is capable of streaming videos to your system, but not all of your readers would be using high-end connectivity. You wouldn’t want to make your page load a frustrating experience for your reader.
