Yahoo, Bing and Google have recently incorporated real time results on their search engine result pages.

It used to show Facebook profile page of the user when his name or a keyword relevant to his profile earlier also. Not every user is willing to make their Facebook profile page easily traceable and if you are also among those people then you can hide your profile page by making the recommended changes.

You will have to change the privacy settings on your face book account to hide your profile. Privacy Settings to hide your profile on Search Engines

1. First Login into your Facebook account and click on the Settings tab at the top right of your profile page

2. Go to privacy settings option and then search from the list of security options.

3. Click on the change settings option and a new window will open up asking for your password.

4. Fill your password and then uncheck the box reading “Allow Indexing” under the Pubic Search results.

5. You should complete these setting changes right after creating your Facebook account because it is hard to avoid your profile after its indexing is being done. It will take 5-6 days for its completion so you should remove the check under this period only.

These easy steps allow you to hide your profile page from appearing in real time results.
