Google’s New Buzz Firehose
Google is out with its latest Google Buzz firehose which will provide its developers an access to all public activities posted on the Buzz through a single feed with real-time PubSubHubBub syndication.
Google announced that its Firehose feature is among the most requested features from the developers. In its announcement post, Google documented the attractive and mostly useless We Feel Fine-esque Buzz Mood, an application that parses Buzz updates for the emotion-related verbs and communicates them to the viewer in a snappy and slide-y animations.

Partners for the firehose launch include some well-known names in real-time space; both OneRiot and Collecta have incorporated the firehose into its real-time search results, and Boulder-based social data company Gnip was also among the primary companies to use this Buzz firehose.
Buzz might not be the major source of presently available social data, but adding its firehose to a wider mix of real-time social update data can assist refine and expand application results.

Google will soon b releasing new API feature today like users’ links, user’s comments and share counts will now be present in their respective feeds.
So what do you say: are you going to use this firehose API ? is there anything exciting about this development?
