Content that clicks!

content_is_kingContent is King

In this age of cyber overcrowding, Content is still King!

While many debate that it is the ‘design’ that captures a visitor’s immediate attention, but after the initial overwhelming appreciation of design- it is content, in some form or the other, that the user ultimately browses for. Presentation counts but content takes the lead role in defining the success of a website. It keeps the user coming back again and again. A website with good, well researched content attracts more visitors than an elaborately designed one. It may be in form of video, articles, wikis, blogs, or other social media, but the more content you have for a given search keyword, more robust will be your presence on the search engine.

Style matters

Be original. Be generous. Stay topical. Share your expertise

Although there is no straight- jacketed style of writing for the web,a content writer’s main aim should be to create a new written piece which is original, simple, engrossing and also to the point. Utmost care should be taken to make the content both comprehensive and concise at the same time.

- A visitor does not visit a site to read some dull and irrelevant article. Collect fresh and relevant information. The more efforts a writer puts in collecting useful information, the better content he is able to create.

- Write a piece of content with clarity and brevity. Usage of complicated words does not impress a visitor rather simple and relevant information does.

- Fulfill the purpose with which you are writing the article. Take into account the business motive with which the article is being written and try to achieve the desired results.

Get Linked

If content is king, then linking is definitely the queen.

Great content means nothing if it cannot be seen. Create content that will make people want to link to it. Success can be achieved only when content either attracts inbound links naturally, or inbound links have to be built, in order to maintain first page listings and to increase positioning in major search results.

All in all, the ultimate goal of good content should be on creating real value for the users, where each click leads to informative, well written and resourceful information.
