CodeSnipp.it:A Cool Application for Developers
Codesnippit is a social site for developers where they can publish their snippets, share and follow code with others and get assistance.
Codesnippit is a website for the developers to look for post their own “snippets”, small bits of code and share issues and discuss ideas with other developers. The site provides its users with a timeline of action and has an irregular following/followers friendship model.
Developers can prefer to see snippets from other users they follow, or they can see everyone’s action or the most popular posts. You can place your own code, remark on others’ code and “like” activity you see on the site.
The website also features Facebook and twitter integration for the more social developers out there.
Users can post up to 20 snippets every month, and while the website is invite-only, each user gets five invitations to send at will.
Codesnippit does have some all-important features that make it stand apart. For one thing, you can really sort out the type of code you’re posting, from ASP to Zend. This is an imperative feature for any website that asks its users to search and post for code, and it’s something that otherwise amazing tools are missing.
The website is still in beta version and a bit buggy here and there, but the concept and the UI is nice so far. We recommend contacting the Codesnipp.it team for an invitation so you can verify it out for yourself.
So what do you think about this cool application of sharing ?
